Our first Rock Star Event was a success!
On Saturday, October 10th, many students from our district visited Menasha Firestation #31 to receive stamps on their VIP passes. They also climbed aboard a fire truck, tried on bullet proof vests, and received all kinds of goodies from the fire department, police department, and the school library.

Read Like a Rock Star is in full swing. Students can count time reading (or read to) during school as well as after school. All we ask of teachers is to remind their students about the program. Student/Parents should be logging hours, and any paper copies of reading logs can be given to the libraries where we will enter the information for you.
