If you haven't heard, we are doing a district wide reading promotion called, Read Like a Rock Star. All students and staff in our district are invited to participate. This month staff who enter will be put in a drawing for a Kwik Trip card. How do you enter the drawing? Simply read 15 hours or more this month, then head on over to the Read Like a Rock Star website to log your hours. This month students will be entered into a drawing for a Culver's gift card, and in October students will be entered into a drawing for a Funset Boulevard Fun Pack for 4.

Here's a new program to our district and it goes a little like this.....
What: Read Like a Rock Star
Who: The entire district including students and staff
When: All school year
How it works:
- Each student and staff member will receive a VIP Pass from their school library.
- Read 15 hours or more a month
- Go to the website at the end of the each month to record your reading hours (staff has a special section on website)
- Receive a stamp on your VIP pass from the school library
- You can also do one of the monthly activities to earn a stamp
- Fill up your VIP pass and get invited to a special rock concert at the end of the school year.
- There will be monthly prize drawings for both students and staff. Things such as t-shirts, a tablet, Funset passes, Kwik Trip cards, etc.
