New York Times Bestselling Author, April Henry, will be visiting
April Henry will be visiting both the high school and middle school on Monday, April 27th.  She will be presenting, doing writing workshops, and even having lunch with a few of our students.
Her presentation schedule will be:
9:30-10:30am in the high school auditorium
1-2pm in the middle school gym
She will also be presenting on Sunday, April 26, at the Menasha Public Library during the Fox Cities Book Festival.
At the Fox Cities Book Festival, Henry will give a presentation entitled, "A Knife to the Throat: True Stories about How a Mystery Writer Researches and Writes Her Stories." She says she does not have trouble inventing new mysteries, but the set pieces can be challenging to keep fresh. “For example, I have written probably a half dozen funeral scenes,” she explains. “It gets hard to think of a way to do it that isn’t a repeat of what I’ve done before.”
April Henry is the New York Times-bestselling author of over a dozen mysteries and thrillers for teens and adults.

You can access Flipster through our link under Parent/Student links and then Libraries.  For a complete list of logins (must be signed into your school email to view) and magazines available click here.
