BrainPOP's new concept mapping tool Make-a-Map helps students connect what they already know to new ideas or material they're learning. Concept mapping gives students the chance to transform information into knowledge by making meaningful connections between their thoughts and ideas using BrainPOP images, keywords, and movie playback clips as resources to get them started.

Overdrive now includes some books with narration built right in (think TumbleBooks without annimation). Some of the books with narration are Robert Munsch books, Blast Off to Reading Non-Fiction books, and more. They are great for use with the smartboard or a reading center.

When I look back upon the things that I have done, the things that I did because I thought they would help, but now know the results, oh boy. Well, let’s just say I am lucky that I have had amazing students that have helped me see the wrong in my rights. - See more at: http://www.techlearning.com/Default.aspx?tabid=67&entryid=8422#sthash.4XaCUKc3.dpuf
